If a theory does not fit then make up an unknown, immeasurable factor/s to solve it????? My kids do that all the time when something gets broken.
I just blamed by siblings - definately known and measureable. It rarely worked Wish I'd know about dark matter back then...

It's a feckin disgrace.
It's one thing to try and bamboozle the joe public with 'Dark Matter'
this and 'Dark Energy' that.
But they look at you sideways when you say both ideas are just theorys and not proven yet.
It's like saying the earth is ROUND not FLAT.
What do we do!!!!??
I'll get hostle at this stage with any 'learned' person you can offer up to me....to explain this..
they feckin can't!... and that's that!
and that's what's so dissapointing.

there is no such thing as dark matter / energy, it's really a combination of epicycles / angels and elephant's all the way down i'll tells ya .
