Sure. What I may do is construct a few of them, have them on stand by or at cosmos. They will fit on any 90mm outer-diameter tube.

Hey Bill,
I don't know why, but I was thinking of an ETX-90, not an LX-90! To make one for that is pretty straight forward Bill. It would not be a full size one - too dangerous with Baader (prone to punctures when its that wide and nothing to protect it).
To do it, would simply be a cover over the end of your 8", and a 3 to 4 inch hole cut out of it, covered with a piece of stretched Baader. Same price, if you want me to do it?

I made a Baader filter for my C8 - full aperture.
I used an A4 sheet of soalr film and encased it in a doule sided card rin. Then I surrounded the ring (a la Hartmann mask) with a rectangular piece of card to make a tube. This fits over the fron of the 8 incher no problem. And assuming you take care of it, there should be no reason why the film should puncture, though I do check it carefully before use.
It has served me well so far!
