Good to see both of you last night - pity the weather didn't co-operate.

Thanks for coming out last night Aubrey & Michael. Although the clouds were frustrating, I enjoyed the observations that were possible through the gaps. Here's hoping for better luck next weekend.

I also most certainly had a most marvellous time.
After I saw my first green star in Mike's achromatic refractor.
Rasalgethi is a very beautiful binary.
The secondary was definitely green.
It is always blue in my apochromatic refractor.
But isn't that what astronomy is all about?
Having great fun looking through different people's telescopes.
Perhaps we will do it all again next Friday.
Why not join us?
I should also mention Be and his dog Toby.
If you can come along next Friday night, you will be most welcome.
Clear skies from Aubrey.

Nice to meet you all at the Sugarloaf last week and thanks for all the advice and sharing your knowledge. Hope to see you on Friday if it's clear,Toby and I are usually out most nights so look forward to seeing you if you can make it. If you are planning to go I might bring up my own telescope and get it to co-operate! Thanks Ben

Hi Ben. It was good to meet you (and Toby) last week.
The forecast for Fri night is promising, so I hope to get out again and I would be happy to try to help with the mount alignment problem that you are experiencing. All going well, I plan to get to Sugarloaf around 9:30. Anyone else interested?
Mike
