Cosmos is a good suggestion and I'll try and get SAC in there too if I can.

Give out to RTE for not mentioning the centenary of Agnes Mary Clerke this January.
I sent them an email.
Didn't do much good.
Peter.

Me, with nothing to say?

I've sent them some material, but like Peter, no reply, yet. I'm sure they'll use me again - I'm on the RTE payroll :D

If you have any events I can pass them on and we can see what happens.

Cheers
Dave

Peter - who did you send it to? The Quantum Leap is probably the ideal choice. Mary Mulvihill is a keen supporter of women in science.

You are right Dave,I should have sent it to Quantum Leap.
I sent it to the controller of programs.

(Last year, after they did a piece on storms and wind speeds, I informed Quantum Leap that the Cup Anemometer was invented by Romney Robinson at Armagh Observatory and suggested that they do a piece on him.Which they did.Mary got a good laugh out of Robinson banning trains from Armagh because they would shake his telescopes.Even today there is no railway station in Armagh.)
