Oh, it wouldn't be a mistake at all Anto! Merely that I probably have the opportunity to actually travel and do some observing like this, as opposed to trying it out on my own and being clouded out and miserable - in this case, I can be miserable with some of my astrobuddies, you see!

The weather isn't looking good for this on Monday, but i'll be out trying to get a glimpse of it through the scope.
Has anyone seen the mad weather coming our way by mid week, its batten down the hatches time and head down to the tornado bunker on Wednesday. :lol:

I cunningly arranged to be off on Monday too, but like you guys, Mr Weatherman has suggested that I should be indoors at the crucial time. Mind you, he's been wrong before so maybe....

If the opportunity arise I shall, as with Saturn a few weeks ago, use the webcam on my scope. I could do a quick mosaic of the Moon in the time between ingress and egress and put all parts of the event into a single merged frame - would look good!
