Hi All,
On behalf of the SAC may I say thank you to every one who attended this years Whirlpool Star Party and made it a truly special event.
May I also say a special thank you to all who helped in the organisation and travel assistance with the speakers, to all who had stands and to Dooleys hotel and staff.

I personally cant wait for the next starparties in Galways and Tullamore.

On behalf of those five of us who travelled from Waterford I must congratulate everyone involved ,as being part of similar events in another sport I'm only too aware of the volume of work.Being our first trip to the WSP I can say we have all agreed to put it on our annual pilgrimage list and no doubt we will see you at the other Star Parties as well.
So from the former provisional "WACOS" now the official DECIES ASTRONOMY SOCIETY,again congratulations and thanks for a brilliant weekend :D

It's going to be hard to follow on from the quality of the last couple of years, and particularly last weekend. Can we make requests? How about Phil Harrington? Or perhaps Chuck Wood (of S&T Lunar Notebook fame), or maybe Guy Consolmagno (co-author of Turn Left at Orion and an astronomer based at the Vatican Observatory)? Or even Tim Ferris, just so Val can get the author to sign his copy of Seeing in the Dark!
