First light party Beara Observatory

Hi Seannie,

It went wonderful. We had a fantastic 100% clear sky with very good seeing, total darkness (No moon), no wind. You actually didn't need a dome at all!

And the company was very good too. Terry Mosely came all the way from Dublin and there were people from Dublin and Cork as well as my local friends from west Cork.
We had a BBQ and drinks, but a good observing session was held up the hill meanwhile.
I was enjoying myself so much that I did not take any pictures, but Terry has kindly offered to send me some copies of his...
I will post some of them when I receive those.
Splendid night in all. Pitty you could come, but you had a splendid time yourself no doubt.
