We just got word that the ESO stand will cover 30 sq metres and this version making its first appearence in Ireland and comprises of 21 display panels, one ALMA (ATACAMA LARGE MILLIMETER ARRAY) antenna model and one Chajnantor model showing the 5000-m high site for ALMA. see www.eso.org/projects/alma/

Looking at the long term weather forecast, its looking like the weather might be good for this weekend for the CSP, of course that might all change but if it worked out it would be great especially given the recent weather here.

I'm looking forward to this event last year was brilliant. This year I will be bringing a 14in CGE Telescope plus my Lumenera and a few bits & bobs along.looking forward to seeing you all there. Let's hope for clear skies.
