Hi Dave,
I think it will be a good time for everyone, greeks and irish.
Looking forward to meeting all of you, too.

Michael et al,
I was curious if EasyJet and/or Aegean have flights from Dublin? They are very cheap when it comes to pricing.
It would be really neat to have all of you here for our monthly excursions to Mount Parnon. Skies approach mag 7 and the Milky Way will at first fool you into thinking we have clouds overhead.

Easy Jet fly from Gatwick to Athens but the fare is 160STG. Add to that the cost of the flight Dublin - Gatwick and it certainly looks like the direct Aer Lingus flight is the better option.

Dave et al,
I would respectfully suggest you forget the refuge and bring a sleeping bag with you ... nothing beats the "natural" feeling when out in the woods and atop a mountain.
Of course, if you have a bad back, there is no choice.

Michael,
The dates provided by Vaggeli are the suggested dates which involve a Friday-Sunday expedition. Without getting into specifics, it is almost certain you will find someone in the area before Friday and on purpose. With less traffic and a lot more quietness, arrivals before Friday are best since with the company of two to three individuals you can enjoy a really productive session.
To this end, if flights are cheaper for dates before/after the Friday-Sunday period, it may be a blessing in disguise.
