The work submitted for this is simply stunning.
I would strongly recommend everyone to try and get a look at it.
Best of luck with it Dee!
Michael.

This exhibition opens on Friday 6th 5:30pm - 9:00 pm
If you are in the area do call by and join in the event.
I have just finished bubble wrapping, cataloguing and boxing all
28 sketches ready to hit the road in the morning.
This is a very unusual collection, ye just got to see it for yourself !!

Well I've managed to talk the wife in to it, so I'll be dragging the whole family down. Anyone else planning on going?
Cheers,
-- Jeff.

Members of the public attending the exhibition on Friday evening
The gate into Blackrock Castle Observatory
Clair McSweeney BCO manager, Tony Jackson? and Peter Household from Cork Astronomy Club
attending the exhibition. If it is not Tony can someone tell me his name, thanks.
Bernie Foley IFAS and DEISE with Deirdre Kelleghan at the public star party in the
BCO courtyard. Cork Astronomy Club have a great location for their events.
Some Deadly Moons , Atlas and Mimas created by local school children who attended one of
five art/astronomy sessions in the castle on Thursday afternoon.
A childs drawing of our moon in a lunar eclipse , one of two hundred images from
children all over Ireland who took part in Deadly Moons in 2008. The images were
projected on a big screen all evening, my thanks to Michael Murphy who put the
Picasa images on a disc.
One of the hundred or so children who had a go at drawing moons in the outreach
room in the castle
Members of The Cork Geological Association and Cork Astronomy Club who attended my talk on
Galileo and the exhibition on Saturday morning
