Aboy Kieran!!!
Fair play to you.
I remember Dave Mac giving a talk in WSP about
amateur astronomers setting up thier own officially recognised
observatory and saying 'it's not that difficult'
Well - maybe,
But it sure must take a lot of determination and
planning.
Best wishes and here's to you discovering something wonderful!!!
(along with producing simply stunning astrophotos!!!)

Excellent, quite an accolade to have Kieran, well done! When's the star party? You need to 'christen' it now.

When you have the double D's ploughing the road and giving you help to solve the issues then it certainly makes it less painfull. Doing it with an 80mm refractor at F6 just adds to problems of accuracy. Improving the system is the next goal.
Edit: Seanie, Bottle of Champagne on the go from Mia who dropped it out to the house before I got home from work. A gem of a Chairperson especially after spending so long getting into and out off work with all the snow today.
Kieran
16" ODK (incoming), Mesu Mount 200, APM TMB 80mm, SXV H16, SXV H9

That was for Mads!! Not for you!!! She deserves it more!
I've already 3 pints lined up for you at Cosmos from wellwishers from other forums, everyone agrees you deserve this code so much with the time and effort you put in.
Now go discover an asteroid!!!

I'll just repeat what I said on the NIAAS forum.
A superb result after so much hard work, well-deserved completely, and making us Nordies very proud people indeed.
