Change Notice: Dunsink Visit from IFAS to Sun March 1st

Looking at the pictures I'm kicking myself that I couldn't make it along. Looks like everyone had a great time.

Looks like a great event - and nice to see my old place of work, I've not been back to Dunsink in almost 5 years!

I'll make it to an event other than a run of the mill SDAS observing session one of these days:laugh:

A thoroughly enjoyable evening with exquisite Michelin star deserving sandwiches, gallons of tea and coffee, excellent company, brilliant presentations, excellent side-chats, a working Grubb refractor in the historic Dunsink dome and to cap it all, clear skies. Pure heaven.

Huge thanks and very well deserved appreciation to Deirdre, Hillary and the DIAS folks. Wonderful.

thanks to deirdre and the dunsink staff, for a great evening . it was good to have sometime to look through the 12", previously i had only glimpsed through it on open nights. thankfully the skies were really clear.
