Not to rub it in or anything, but it was a good night up in Louth too.

Yes it was a great night. The seeing was quite good also.
Highlight of the night for me was C/2006 W3 ( Christensen ) as I did not realise that this visitor was hanging out in Cygnus at 8th magnitude. Goto went straight to it. Definately blazing across the heavens against the star clouds of the milky way
Also got a chance to renew acquaintance with some other gems such as the veil nebula, saturn nebula and some new ones too like the Foxhead nebula in Cygnus.
