Yeah, twas very lucky alright. When I saw the moon out at about 8pm I wondered had the guys and gals waited long enough. Didn't Calchas say they would stay till 8 waiting on the weather torrential downpour or not. Would have been terrible to have packed back up and headed home just before 8 only for it to totally clear minutes later

The plan is 8pm start, attend till at least 8:30pm so people aren't left wondering.
Was science not luck. I'd been estimating that we'd be clear all day, but the margin for error was way tighter than expected
Don't wait for 'the scope' to be ready just come down for the craic
