I just found out that the road is actually a pathway, so no go there. There are some potential sites around Glenmalure that might be interesting, when the weather improves, sorry, if the weatehr improves :unsure: I'll check them out.

If anyone can think of anywhere let me know.

I was talking to a mate yesterday, he lives down in Laragh and I was telling him what I was planning, he recommended that we head up the Wicklow Gap, there are a pair of car parks there one is off the road with an access road for the ESB to Turlough Hill off it, this is the OSI satellite image:

It's the rectangular shaped one and I plan to head that way in the next couple of weeks to check it out.
