Nice little write up in the Times. Also proves that Celbridge Observatory is run by an Irishman

Hi Dave,
Nice one! The minimum indeed looks like an EA. Wonder what the period will turn out to be.
At 15th magnitude its pretty hard for visual observers.
Keep up the good work

Hi Dave, I've just read how you did it, well done on such an effort, you got some great help there from Arne and Sebastian at the AAVSO, they are top people in this game. I'd love to follow your lead one day, sill looking visually for those nova
Will this now convince you to this work along with the asteriod curves? Though it is a lot of work.
Keith..

As it happens Keith, the software I use for the asteroid photometry has an automated routine for looking variable stars - and it doesn;t take a huge amount of extra work. So I guess I'll make sure I run the routine on the data after I've done the asteroid stuff - who knows, there could be more out there...
Julie - I guess SWKerry will get the scoop
