International Observe the Moon Night 2011

I have registered my Moon Viewing in Bray for this public outreach event.
If any clubs are keen on public outreach this season , then this is a good event to start with.
The registering is easy see link above.

Weather permitting I hope to do a public moon viewing with my little club www.stcronans.ie/astronomy_club.html
in Bray down on the seafront near The Boat House Coffee shop.
Between 7pm and 8pm, if anyone is free to help out , that would be great.

October 8 is also the night of the Draconid meteor shower, therefore there might be a little extra to see.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Yeah maybe with a bit of luck , but if we are lucky to share the Moon with a few folks

Will ye join us ? even with binos if your scope is not fixed by then.

you must agree that public outreach is good news?
Good sharing in this difficult time for everyone.

Carbon friendly , in your local community , we only have the weather in our way :-)

Would be good to see IFAS clubs organise a public observing session around this event.
