International Observe the Moon Night October 8th 2011

Hi Pat

The Irish Astronomical Society will be at the Martello Tower Car Park in Sandymount
on the previous evening Friday Oct 7th 8pm weather permitting.

I have not checked the Int Observe the Moon Map for a while so there maybe some more events registered there.
Blackrock Castle Observatory in Cork , are doing an event with Cork Astronomy Club.

Will try to organise something in Dungarvan Dee, will keep you posted....

Same here, we'll see if we can put something together for this event next week.

Plus as D points out the meteor shower is also happening.

I hope to be there myself Dee, lending whatever support I can.
