Deise Astronomy Club.

I see the ownership of the Deise Astronomy Club web site is up for sale, not a good sign.
Anyone know what’s happening in the south east?

As someone who is geographically at the fringe of the Desie Club area, the loss of the site is a great loss. For years the forum was our main means of communications. Hopefully something good will happen soon.

Since we lost the right to that site Donal, we've mostly been using the facebook page, though I still send out monthly emails (you're on the club mailing list aren't you?). Leigh (another DAS member) has been looking for an alternative website and I've emailed the Chairman & Vicechair to see if we can get things moving again as it would be an awful shame if the club 'died' but it seems to me to be in terminal decline for a while now.
