Roundwood Imaging & Visual Astronomy Night

Hi everyone,

The weather is looking great for Saturday night myself and a few other lads are heading to Roundwood GAA Grounds to do some deep sky imaging.
We’ll also be doing lots of visual astronomy so if anyone is interested please come along. It’s a great chance to learn about the night sky.

Hi Mike,
You are more than welcome to come along. The plan is to have a good night out under very dark skies, we’ll be taken photos of galaxies, Planets, and we’ll also be doing lots of visual astronomy too. Again anyone can come along just wrap up well bring lots of hot drinks and enjoy the night simple as that. We’ll have the GAA grounds to ourselves there’re no bar open all, the lights will be off and I’ll have the keys for the mains power.
