Well done Ronan delighted for you. The work you guys do to promote astronomy in the Galway is outstanding the club is getting stronger and stronger each year. I'm looking forward to meeting up with all you guys again in February for a few beers and a lot of fun and the astronomy of course.

Thank you to everyone who voted for me, I am very honoured to recieve this award and was totally unexpected as I am not very active on the IFAS boards although I keep a regular eye on topics relatIng to Aurorae. In relation to the Club in Galway, yes we are a strong club with a very busy schedule and as with every other year around this time I am swamped in organising our up coming Starparty which being our 10th (and the 15th anniversary since our club formation) intend to make it the best yet including a special evening dedicated in honour of the late and great Parick Moore.

Thank you again
