Urgent - Moon and Uranus

Folks - without me going back in time in my planetarium program, does anyone know approximately how often Uranus and the Moon get this close?

The leading international expert on such things is the Belgian Jean Meeus.
He can even tell you when Venus next occults Mercury !

There is a really good program by the name of WinOccult (shareware) which handles such occultations extremely well. Although it will not tell you how often such events occur, it will be happy to compute for you the events themselves.

Thanks for the offers folks - appreciate. I manged to find out a rough estimate from TheSky - about every 7 years or so...

Must try MinOccult - is it available for download? Freeware/shareware?

Hi All

I was just looking at the piece Davemcd wrote on uranus moon conjunction for xmas day. www.astroshack.net/Uranus.php
I opened cartes du ciel and let it run and I noticed that at about 9.40pm, the moon will occult uranus. Can anybody confirm this.
