Seanie if you need a sample for a talk then Dr. Ian Sanders in TCD might be able to loan you some samples.

Seriously though, I've a few books on meteorites Seanie if they would be any help. There's a couple by Harold Povenmire on meteorite collecting and another one by the same author called "Cosmic Close Encounters" which details many meteorite falls, near misses, and "casualties".

If you would like to view our collection of meteorites in TCD next time you are in Dublin you would be very welcomed, just give me some notice so that I can arrange a private viewing. We also have a collection of old fossils on display within the same department (myself excluded )!

Sounds good Mike. Fossils are an old hobby of mine. I once thought I found a trilobite fossil in a quarry once - then it just turned out to be something like a mineralised clam shell in some limestone!
