It might be worth contacting Peter Cox (
www.petercox.ie
). He's a professional landscape photographer, and has an interest in landscape astrophotography. He's taken some of the shots used in the promotion of the Kerry Dark Sky reserve for example. I'd imagine he would know of possible locations that might interest you and might be suitable for astrophotography projects.
