Yes it was clear in Cork. I hopped into the car and drove to Ballycotton and walked out along the cliffs.
Nice views of the south sky over the sea.
Took a quick 30sec snap of Orion and myself

Very heavy dew alright. It was almost foggy. The light from the lighthouse could be clearly seen as a sweeping beam.

Great to hear from John. In the past, I have observed Stock 2. But I haven't observed Ngc 7662 for many years. It is rather splendid at high magnifications too.
