Thats quite a lot of meteors... you must have been out for like, all night!

Seen 104 meteors last night and glimpsed the spiral galaxy M81 with the naked eye when it was well placed at the zenith. Also seen 16 naked eye Pleiades members and observed pink and purple colours in the Orion nebula using the 16" at 57X...a fantastic night!

I was out for a long time then again before dawn. My dark adaption was at its best so i could see very faint meteors which really brought the count up.
