I've been out observing Mars for a little while, and I have just noticed a very HUGE increase in meteors falling from all areas of the sky. Pretty amazing. Anyone else notice anything???

Seanie, do us a favour and go back out observing will ye? :-)

Seen 104 meteors last night and glimpsed the spiral galaxy M81 with the naked eye when it was well placed at the zenith. Also seen 16 naked eye Pleiades members and observed pink and purple colours in the Orion nebula using the 16" at 57X...a fantastic night!
