Partial Solar Eclipse from Maynooth

just a curious thing i noticed but during the eclipse the sunspot near the 7 o clock position, i thought looked darker and more visible during the partial eclipse than after it. it just seemed to have better contrast, i did not think it would be that much though.

I watched it myself from Armagh with beautifully clear skies.

And I had a text from Antalya to say that the eclipse observations have been a 100 percent success
