Hi,
Successful Eclipse despite Dust Storm & Bus Breaking down!
Very Clear Sky.
Highlights:
By far the number one was the Coronal Streamers - absolutely amazing!
Also Orange vivid horizon colours
Venus ten minutes before.
Sharp edge to shadow.
Patricia saw Mercury.
Noticable drop in temp.
Crimson Prominences in binocs.
Well covered up against the sun & other things.
No Champaign here until April 1st (no fooling)
John & Patricia
(did not hear from Jimmy yet)

Excellent reports All ! You make me feel as if I was there! I'm chuffed for you all that it worked out so well !
I'm sure there's many a story to come yet, for what it's worth, most of Ireland had clear skies (except the south) and some great shots are on the boards already, but there's no way 15% is gonna beat 100%
Enjoy the rest,
Keith..

It was an amazing experiance, the sky colours, and the shadow racing away after totality was a real surprise, especially since it wasnt easily visible coming towards before totality.
The lads above pretty much described it perfectly.
Even the cameras worked as hoped. I think when we all get back to Ireland, the site is going to be inundated with eclipse images

Hi everyone
I was in between Cappadocia and Konya in Turkey, right at the center of eclipse path. Sky conditions were great , with absolutely no clouds visible around.
As you all said, it was an incredible experience. I already have some pictures to share. more will come.

Side should be much more crowded than my place <G>
Enjoy
