Managed to observe this evenings thin cresent moon in very bright twilight from 21.40 with the naked eye and 10X50s. I had a mate visiting me from Newcastlle so we observed it together which was very nice. It was his first look at a crescent that thin and he was very impressed. Got one not so good image before the clouds rolled in..
