Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Hi all
Met Eireann are predicting clear spells for the Leinster tonight, so a chance to get out is on the cards.
I have one question.
How do you get the cobwebs off a scope?
Paul

Gentlemen,
Unfortunately this is the worst time of the year for such work given we are stuck with the shortest possible nights. Things will improve slowly as nights will progressively get longer and longer.
Some patience.

Very true Anthony, but when you are 52 degrees north it is even worse (unless you live in Finland)

A fantastic sunset is happening right now, the horizon has that deep yellow glow, very like during th eclipse in turkey last year, so if you want o see what the sky looks like during an eclipse, have a look outside now and over the next 15 mins or so.
Anthony, when you get the weather we get, you just have to make do with the nights that show up.
