was last nights sky of really really good quality? was created by fguihen
I dont have my scope in dublin with me so i couldnt do any observing, but just looking up last night made me real annoyed i couldnt do any observing with my scope.
the stars barely twinkled and there seemend to me many more visible than usual, even from stillorgan. Was the sky super clear and still last night ( night of the 10th of oct), and if so, did anyone take advantage of it?

Fintan, I went out about 8:45 and can't say I noticed anything special. By 9pm it was 100% cloudy and stayed that way until I went to bed around 1am.

Very hazy here late on (23:00hrs), and mostly cloud before and after that.

Tuesday night in South Down was wonderful, the Milky Way just leapt out at me and it was nice to see Orion at a half decent hour (1.30am!!!) (is there a yawny smiley?)

I was out under the stars last night until about 2am and the sky was indeed pretty good - very little scintillation - which was surprising given how warm it was!
