There should be a law against clouds.

I haven't seen a single star in the sky since Friday night really. Infact i haven't seen the sky since Friday night.

The weather for tonight was for clear skies. Guess its not the first time the weather people got it wrong.

Pity about the christmas tests we have in school, cant take the telescope out.

I got a few quick glimpses of the Moon earlier, but I doubt I'll be seeing much tonight.

Should be better further west. A strong thermal gradient means cloud is spilling in across the Irish sea. Unfortunately a more substantial moist airmass is now moving in from Wales so I don't think it's gonna get better further east.

In fairness to Met Eireann, Gerry Fleming mentioned on the weather after the 6 one news that this would happen. (Just after he said 'Hellooo there and aaa very gooood evening t'ya '

The cloud arrived in Cork about 2200hrs. I got a few good hours in before then though .

In fairness to Gerry, it was the BBC i was working off of. It broke for a bit and i had a few mins with Orion and saw lovely Sirius rising between the branches of the trees down the end of garden (would have made a nice pic if i was in the mood).
