From Gemini into Leo.
Wow it was bright!
-6?
Bright white - blue..
broke up into 2/3 small bits just around Saturn.
No trail as far as I could see...
But I was only just out and not fully dark adapted.
Did anyone else see that one!?

I spent the last hour setting everything up and just as I was
ready to go rain came in.
I swear, I am very tempted to pack this lark all in.

Didn't catch the one your talking about but did see something earlier in the SW sky, mag 1 or so. Maybe we're seeing debris from this US spy sattelite breaking up???

sounds great but i must have missed it - im just in as its started snowing here. Saturn was spectacular tonight - Titan was there too if im not mistaken.
