Whats crazy about that? You sayin I'm Murdoch to your Hannibal? Does that make Frank Ryan Jr the Faceman and Dave Lilis B.A. Baracus? :D

Murdoch is the looper with the scope lit up like a Christmas tree.
Hannibal is the man with the AstroBrains and Knowledge
Face man is pretty as a picture.....eh, I mean takes pretty astro pictures
B.A. Baracus is the dude with the Big @ss scope

Ten years ago, a crack Amatuer Astronomer unit was sent to forum prison by an IFAS court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Burren underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as Astronomers of fortune. If you have an Astro related problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire...

The Astronomers-Team.

Hows THAT for crazy Seanie!! :D

I was booting up both at the same time because I wanted to find out what Satellite I had seen in SNP and wanted to post a short report about it on the forums, only to find someone had beaten me to it....or so it looked from reading the thread title.

If you can give us the time to the nearest minute, we can narrow down in starrynight what it might have been.

Sophro,

Anytime I've read reports like yours of objects appearing to change direction the likely explanation is that what you saw was in fact two satellites. One dimmed just as another brightened in the same part of the sky. All you need to do is blink for a second and you miss the cunning switch!! I've seen this happen myself on a couple of occassions and it really does lead to a pretty cool looking effect.

Regards and Clear Skies,

Dave.
