I got a call from a member of the public who saw something similar on Friday night last just before 6pm. I thought it may have been a Chinese lantern but was doubtful, the person seemed to know what they were looking at as being satellite in nature. I'm going to put my money on another satellite (maybe an unknown Iridium Flare either?) that appeared, then disappeared into Earth's shadow.
