I have a 10" GSO Dob. I got the x227 through a 11mm Explore Scientific 82degree EP with a Parks Gold x2 Barlow, which i understand is the same as the Celestron Ultima barlow. I was surprised alright with seeing the patches. I dont think it was anything with the scope/EPs that gave this effect. Hopefully I'll get another look tonight or the coming nights and check it out again.
