Thanks Yohan, glad you liked the images and info.

Michael; I use Mira Pro 7 from Mirametrics. I guess you could use Paint shop pro or some similar image processing software. I found I needed to combine the images using “add” or “maximum value” commands to obtain a reasonably clear final image.

Thanks Mike.
I took a look at this in Photoshop.
The images were added as layers on top of each other.
Then, selecting all except the bottom layer, the layering function can be changed to "lighten".
I tried this for the night of the 13th/14th December. See below.

On Photoshop you can use the free Action "Star Circle Academy"

starcircleacademy.com/teststacker/

Essentially it stacks pics using "lighten" mode as Michael indicated
