Hi all, I'm getting a CG5 goto mount in the next few weeks, but I need some advice on a power supply. What about this? -

I think I need an 'AC Adapter' also - is this right? This is a rechargable power supply. Are there any other alternatives?Thanks,Keith..
Keith,
There are cheaper power pack alternatives, some with two 12VDC sockets as well but none with all the extras the Celestron Power Tank includes such as 3, 6 & 9 DC sockets, radio, powerful spotlight (rather than just a light), red torch and the Celestron adapter cable (in a compartment on the side) to connect to the telescope mount so you don't need to buy it separately (worth £13).

They also sell a unit with a built-in 240volt AC invertor, which might be useful for running a laptop (but this only has 1 cigar 12volt outlet).
