You betcha! The views of the Veil Nebula with an OIII filter are fabulous. Comet Holmes was fantastic too. Very easy to assemble and break down. Well worth the effort and no need for a ladder, even at zenith.
If you have any plans on building something similar, I certainly don't mind sharing my design drawings if you're interested.

I can't believe I never got a look at it in Birr,
I blame he damn fog!
As for building one....
I don't think so thank you.
I've enough to be doing with restoring the club Dob.
(Which reminds me, I have to rope Dave L into building the cell :twisted: )
Dob's are certainly the only way to go!
So... next question...
When are you starting on the 25'' !?
