Folks - I dug out that Sky&Tel article "How to Measure Sky Glow with your Digital Camera." It is in the February 2006 issue - pg99-104. I have scanned it in and saved it as a ZIP (4.58Mb) file, and you can download it from:
ochra.110mb.com/temp/Measuring%20Sky%20Glow.ZIP
Hope this helps,
Phil.
PS - Let me know if you have any problems downloading it, as I have not set any file permissions - just the defaults.

Cheers Phil.
Michael,
Each image was a 4 minute exposure at ISO800 F5.6. The digital camera seems to be a whole different beast compared to a ccd. Focus was done by zooming in on Jupiter and the zooming back out. Astroart had a problem with the mosaic around Aquila which is double exposed. The high res version is 14mb and I can zoom in and pick out a hell of a lot of DSOs including M8 & 16. I have set up tonight to try ISO 1600 but there is quite a bit of cloud about.
