The tank is a 17AH one unfortunately. I'll probably grab one of the Halfords units - I like the idea of being able to power the laptop from it. With the CGE 11 out of action tonight, I may dust off my Dob!

Best of luck.
BTW how are you finding the CGE11? I got mine back in April but have only managed to take it out a few times due to the weather and long summer nights.
My 8" LX10 tends to get used more often especially if I am only going out for 2 hours or so.

Absolutely love it. I got it last October and it took a little getting used to but it is great. There's something pretty amazing about watching it slew across the sky and settling on the correct object. I've hooked up my Canon 400D with the Shoestring DSUB and have made some basic progress with astrophotography but I think I prefer the fun of visual observation. I'm close to Dublin city centre (Raheny) but the south sky and the west aren't too bad. Just about to set up for tonight and I have a friend coming over with his scope so fingers crossed that the weather doesn't close in.

I've just set mine up to let it cool down outside. A few small clouds on the horizon but clear skies so far. Those ADM bolts really speed the set up.
Happy observing
