My next scope is going to be a Vixen VMC200L Catadioptric OTA

The star we call the sun doesn't look the same upside down.
Now you know why i want an erect diagonal.

Mark.
Anybody who says that Earthshine is reflected Sunshine is talking Moonshine.

The Erect Diagonal will make the sun spin the wrong way though.
Might be better off going to Australia.
Looking at it upside down down there is the same as looking at it the right way up up here.

Paul,
Before you go buying one make sure you can use it with your scope. If you've got a newtonian reflector, then you may have problems bringing anything into focus (you'll have added an extra couple of inches to your focal length and I dont think the focusers on a reflector will handle that, wheras a refractor focuser is already designed to handle a diagonal. Erect image diagonals or any diagonal is really only suitable for reflectors and SCTs (I could be wrong if anyone cares to correct me?).

My scope is a refractor. It's just an idea i'm throwing around. One of many.
