well, I finally got out to have a look at my Starhopper 10" Dob. - just for a couple of hours before parental duties called. wow - great yoke. seeing was a bit misty and as a consequence the scope got a little damp. It was hard to avoid the Moon - but I held back for as long as possible to avoid ruining my dark adapted eyes. I had a look at a few targets and checked as best as possible, Collimation. I know it's a bit out but I found it hard to get used to moving the scope in altitude. Dont know if its balance or friction causing problem. Finally I had a look at the moon, used the 32mm and finished with the 15mm and Barlow X2 brill in every sense of the word. Mesmerised by the tyre tracks of the Moon buggy imprinted on the lunar dust  (just kiddin)finally...finally... finder scope was out of focus - but i think I figured it out.
