It doesn't John, but only because I don't get what you're talking about! The only thing I can see coming off, is the ring at the very end of the tube that tightens to hold the eyepiece in place. (I'm not trying to use it with the eyepiece in place btw!)

When you take of the eypiece ring, there is another ring underneath that. just screw it off and fit the t-ring onto it.

Thanks for that info, I knew I was doing something wrong,
When I downloaded the Ascom drivers and pulse guiding add -on from Starklabs I never found the command where it would let me activate pulse guiding.
I just dumped everything together, now it makes some sense and I will try tomorrow night.
I’m delighted to hear that you’re making progress.
I think this software could help a lot of beginners (like me) to try their hand at guiding
and the info you suggested will go a long way in working this out.
