I'm guessing you are probably aware of this site, but if not be sure and go to astronomyboy.com. It has complete instructions - including photographs - on how to tear down and rebuild a CG5 mount.

I've done it twice and was glad to have had the instructions handy. It just might save you from an "Oh Sh_t".
