Hi - bought one fairly recently - to use as guide camera. I took a few frames through my FS60CB just to test before I put it to use for guiding. Worked fine for what I want.
Did you download the drivers.....I thought they would have been with the camera but they weren't. Check this link to the website:

I just downloaded ONE driver: High Performance Driver (Ver13-1-6)
I have Vista on the laptop that I use for Astro. I use Astro Art 5 software for image capture but since putting this camera to work as a guide camera - I control it via PHD. As PHD is free it would be very easy & quick to test the camera via that programme.

If you installed more than one driver (you did mentioned drivers) then as per the web site I would uninstall them and ONLY install one. I think the second one High Compatibility Driver (Ver13-1-7) may be better if you had problems with the other....it says "high compatibility".
Astro Art is not free (unsure if there is a trial)but for sure PHD is free. I think once you confirm that you have the driver in and have some programme talking to the camera - then the next step (to use the software you normally work with) should not be too big a step.
I am sure it has to be the driver problem that is stopping you just now.
