I have an Orion SSIAG. Which is basically a QHY 5-I camera. It is a huge pain in the backside to get working. The drivers have to be spot on or it won't work. Connect the camera and go to device manager (or whatever abomination windows 8 has). Goto the tab for it - possibly something like astrophotography. Goto driver details and delete the driver. Connect it again. If it installs - repeat process until you get a prompt for install software drivers. Then make absolutely sure you have the correct version ( 64 bit if your OS is 64 bit ) and install. If it isn't working - point the driver search to something like c:\program files\QHY\driver. Also try PHD 2
