Just an FYI - Shannon is slated to be an abort site for Orion for ISS flights, only one of 2 in Europe IIRC.

Saw it on a Powerpoint presentation - for access, you can hunt it down on the L2 section at the excellent nasaspaceflight.com. L2 is the subscription part of the site, lots of insider goodies there from within the bowels of NASA - well worth the subs.
