This reminds me of a dialogue from the film “The Right Stuff†when NASA came recruiting for astronauts:
Gus Grissom: “Hey Gordo, what’s the word ‘Astronaut’ mean anyway?â€
Gordo Cooper: “It means ‘Star Voyager’ Gus.â€
Gus Grissom : “ ‘Gus Grissom Star Voyager’. I kinda like the sound of that!â€

John Murphy: "spásmairnealacht - is maith liom é"
Mark: "Is fearr liom spéirmairnealacht"
Gus Grissom: "Who the hell are these guys and what are they saying????"

Gus would appreciate. He was good at making up names himself!
Quote:
Iota Ursae Majoris (ι UMa / ι Ursae Majoris) is a star system in the constellation Ursa Major. It is approximately 47.7 light years from Earth. It has the traditional names Talitha Borealis and Alphikra Borealis, and was also named Dnoces ("Second," backwards) after Edward H. White II, an Apollo 1 astronaut. The name was invented by his fellow astronaut Gus Grissom as a practical joke.

So for the couple of pilots here...
Where exactly can one get a "JAR-FCL 3, Class 2 current flight medical examination certificate from a certified aviation medical examiner". I presume thats not something a GP can do. Also how much does it cost?
